Mike Ingram is the founder and CEO of El Dorado Holdings, Inc., a Phoenix-based land and development business focused on developing Arizona. The company began in 1987 with the acquisition of the historic El Dorado Ranch, formally owned by John Wayne. Under Mikes’s leadership, El Dorado Holdings is one of the largest private land-holding companies in the Southwest. Prior to his involvement in El Dorado Holdings, Mike was president of Sunwest, Inc., one of the largest animal health distribution companies in the U.S.

Mike’s influence and commitment extends beyond real estate. He is involved in numerous business and civic organizations and serves on the boards of the Arizona Commerce Authority, the International Order of T. Roosevelt, U.S. Department of Interior International Wildlife Conservation Council (Emeritus), the Joe Foss Institute (Emeritus) Goldwater Institute (Emeritus),Barrow Neurological Foundation (Emeritus), Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) Foundation, C.M. Russell Museum, Scottsdale Museum of the West, the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, Grand Canyon University, and is formerly one of the owners of the Arizona Diamondbacks, a Major League Baseball team. He is also actively involved with Child Help, Pinnacle Forum, Focus on the Family, and Campus Crusade for Christ. In 2019, Mike received the Horatio Alger Award from the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, Inc., and was recognized for having succeeded despite facing adversities, and remaining committed to higher education and charitable endeavors throughout his lifetime.

A New Mexico native, Mike graduated from Roswell High School in Roswell, New Mexico. Following high school, he attended Texas Tech University, and in 1966 received a Bachelor of Science degree from New Mexico State University. Mike and his wife, Sheila, reside in Phoenix, Arizona. Together they have six children, 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
